This little quick tutorial shows you a neat thing that most people don’t know. That being you can send a txt to a phone using PHP.
Almost every carrier has a way you can email a message, aka txt, to a phone on their network. With PHP you can send emails. So for example, you would send a email to [email protected] to send a txt to (502)-555-8547, who is one Verizon’s network.
Sending a Email in PHP:
To most basic way to send a email in PHP is to do this:
[email protected]", "Hi", "It Sent"); ?>
The above code sends a email to [email protected] with the subject of “Hi” and the content of “It Sent”. See; That was literly 1 line of real code. Of course it doesn’t have everything you could do, but I’ll leave it like that for this tutorial.
The Carrier Emails:
Here is a small list of some common carrier emails.
[email protected]","Hi","I sent you a txt message"); ?>
