The PSP is the most returned device in 2010

Posted on Thursday, October 21st, 2010 in Gaming by Nick

Originally I fired up my computer this morning to write about new games and homebrew apps coming to the PSP. So in my search for that information, I found a report that stated that the PSP is the ‘most returned tech gadget’ of 2010. The report was done by British researchers and the website MyVoucherCodes.co.uk. MyVoucherCodes made over 481 million last year, so I’d say its a good source of information.

Interestingly, Sony is featured three times in the list of most returned gadgets, with their PSP topping the list, Reader eBook listed at 7th on account of the percentage of units returned and Sony netbooks in at tenth.

The list is as followed:

  1. Sony PSP – 6.2%
  2. Kindle – 5.7%
  3. Apple iPad – 4.9%
  4. Microsoft Xbox 360 – 4.8%
  5. HTC Desire – 4.6%
  6. iPhone 4 – 4.5%
  7. Sony Reader eBook – 4.2%
  8. TomTom satnavs – 4.1%
  9. Motorola Bluetooth headsets – 4%
  10. Sony Netbooks– 4%
