One of the iPhone’s nice features is that you can set up a custom password (I know all phones have this but..) for your lockscreen. So is your phone safe with it? Well, apparently its not.
A few sites have reported that an exploit for the iPhone 4 or iPhone 3G(S) running iOS 4.1 allows a user to skip past the lockscreen and access voice mail, contacts, call history, and have the ability to call people.
- Tap the Emergency Call button
- Dial ###
- Tap the Call button and near simultaneously Press the Lock button (on the top of the phone)
